JAMB 2026 Result Slip Is Out. Here Is How to Print Yours Right Now Before Admissions Open.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board activated the printing portal for the 2026 UTME Original Result Slip on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. If you sat for the UTME this year and have not printed your slip yet, today is the day to do it.
This is not the SMS notification. This is not a screenshot from the portal. The original result slip is the document that contains your full name, registration number, photograph, scores in each individual subject, total aggregate score out of 400, and a verification reference that institutions use to confirm your result is genuine. Every institution will ask for this. Without it, you cannot complete Post-UTME registration or admission clearance.
Why the Slip Took This Long
JAMB's Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, had earlier explained that the board needed to conclude foreign examinations and conduct the mop-up examination for candidates who were unable to sit the main UTME before the original result slip printing could begin. The mop-up examination held on June 13. The result slip printing was activated on June 17, within two hours of the official announcement.
What the Result Slip Contains
The 2026 UTME Original Result Slip features the candidate's photograph, national ranking, and other security details required for admission processing.
It carries the official JAMB formatting and watermark that distinguishes it from unofficial documents. It is the only version that counts for admission purposes. Screenshots, SMS scores, and portal previews are not substitutes for the printed slip.
How to Print Your 2026 UTME Original Result Slip
Step one: Go to the official JAMB e-Facility portal at efacility.jamb.gov.ng on your phone or computer.
Step two: Log in with your registration number or email address.
Step three: Click on the option to print your Original Result Slip.
Step four: Complete the payment required to access the printing service. You can pay via Remita or bank transfer. Have the exact amount ready before you start.
Step five: After successful payment, enter your JAMB registration number and select 2026 as the examination year.
Step six: Click Print Result Slip. Review the details carefully before printing. Make sure your name, photo, registration number, and scores are all correct.
Step seven: Print at least two physical copies and save one in a safe place. Save a digital copy in your email or cloud storage as a backup.
One Critical Warning
JAMB has specifically warned candidates not to use cybercafes to print their result slips. Only visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre if you are printing physically. Using an unauthorised centre puts your personal data and your document's security features at risk.
If you are printing from home or school, use the official JAMB website only. Do not use any third-party website that claims to offer result slip printing services.
What to Do After Printing
Check your score against the cut-off marks for your chosen course and institution. Log into JAMB CAPS daily and monitor it for admission offers. Visit your institution's official website and watch for Post-UTME screening announcements. Upload your O-level results to your JAMB profile if you have not done so already. Respond quickly to any CAPS offer you receive. Admission windows move fast. Missing a notification by a few days can push you back by a full academic year.
