Justice Was Served: The Terrorist Who Drove Noa Argamani Into Gaza Is Dead
On October 7, 2023, the world watched in horror as Noa Argamani was taken from the Nova music festival on the back of a motorcycle, screaming for help as she was driven into Gaza.
Almost three years later, it got done.
The man who drove that motorcycle was Saher Nidal Latfi Sakr.
The IDF confirmed on Saturday, September 27, 2026, that he was killed in a strike in Gaza.
How He Was Killed
According to a joint statement by the IDF, Shin Bet security service and Lahav 433 police unit, Sakr was killed in an Israeli strike in the Nuseirat area of the central Gaza Strip.
It was a joint operation involving the IDF, Shin Bet and the Israel Police's Gideonim Unit 33 of Lahav 433.
Israel Police released footage showing Israeli forces tracking Sakr before a precise aerial strike hit him, sending a plume of smoke into the air.
The IDF said Sakr was affiliated with global jihad organizations operating in the Gaza Strip and supplied weapons to Hamas during the war, and that he continued planning attacks and was killed to "remove a threat."
The Abduction That Shocked The World
Sakr entered Israel during the Hamas-led October 7 attack and served as the motorcycle driver involved in the abduction of Argamani and her boyfriend Avinatan Or from the Nova festival.
He drove the motorcycle used to abduct Argamani and Or from the Nova music festival and take them to Gaza.
Footage of Argamani being driven into Gaza on a motorcycle became one of the most recognizable images of the October 7 attack.
Noa spent 245 days as a hostage before Israeli forces rescued her on June 8, 2024, in a daring operation in central Gaza. Her boyfriend Avinatan Or was released by Hamas in October 2025 as part of a ceasefire deal.
The killing extends a joint IDF-Shin Bet manhunt that has killed more than 2,700 October 7 participants, many identified through recovered footage and facial recognition.
It Took Almost Three Years. It Got Done.
From that motorcycle ride on October 7 to the strike in Nuseirat on September 27 — justice took 1,086 days.
But as the IDF said, the threat has been removed.
